The first round at Orlando was starting to look like a mudder, but luckily the weather moved on and the round seven replica track ended up being dry for the night show.
The night show overall was a pretty cut and dry event. The track was fairly fast paced and overall one-lined so it was pretty tough for riders to move up the field. Cooper Webb would end up taking the overall at the end of the night with Ken Roczen just behind him.
In terms of privateers, Tyler Bowers returned for his first round of the year but fell short of making the main due to crashes in his heat race as well as the LCQ. Ronnie Stewart had an ugly get off in qualifying but was able to line up for the night show, however not able to make the main. Overall, some of the privateers had a pretty good night with Justin Starling and Freddie Noren both making their first main events of the year and Kyle Chisholm making the main once again.
Kyle Chisholm finished a solid 19th with Starling and Noren following behind in 20th and 21st respectively. Noren finally has points for the PRVTR Party Fund but does have a way to go if he wants to take it at the end of the season. As of now Kyle Chisholm is still looking good but Carlen Gardner still lurking behind by only 6 points!
Below you will find the current standings for the PRVTR Party Fund, including every eligible privateer who earned at least one point in the 2020 AMA Supercross series. For those who don't know, the PRVTR Party Fund rewards the most improved top five riders at the end of the season based on the points earned for the current compared to the points earned from the previous season. The winner will receive 50% of the pot with the other 50% being distributed equally the rest of the riders in the top five.
